An Affordable Tennis Program Managed and Run by the Philadelphia Area Team Tennis Association 

Learn and Play Tennis on a Team!  Just as in baseball, soccer, and basketball, players will be placed on tennis teams and play against other teams.  Here are some details:

Where: Tennis Courts at Avon Grove Middle School (257 State Rd., West Grove, PA) 

When: Matches and Practices will be Sunday afternoons and at 1 of 3 sessions:

Red Ball Division
For Ages: Players in grades PK-2 (minimum age is 5)
Format: Red Transition Balls, 36 Foot Court
Time First 3 Sessions: Sundays, 12:00pm-1:00pm
Last 4 Sessions: Sunday, 11:45am-1:00pm

Orange Ball Division
For Ages: Players in grades 3-4 (Very experienced 2nd graders may also play)
Format: Orange Transition Balls, 60 Foot Court
Time First 3 Sessions: Sundays, 1:00pm-2:00pm
Last 4 Sessions: Sunday, 1:00pm-2:15pm

Green Ball Division
For Ages: Players in grades 5-8 (Very experienced 4th graders may also play)
Format: Yellow and Green Balls, Full 78 Foot Court
Time First 3 Sessions: Sundays, 2:00pm-3:00pm
Last 4 Sessions: Sunday, 2:15pm-3:30pm

Dates for the program will be: 4/6, 4/13, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18, 6/1
Backup/Rain Dates will be: 5/25, 6/8 and Saturdays as needed

Cost:  $95 for the season, and includes uniform, award, and end of season party.

Level of Play: The league is for beginner and intermediate players. 

Weekly Format: The first 3 weeks will be practices, focusing on fundamentals, games, and scoring.  The last 4 weeks will be devoted to match play against other teams.  The last session will be a match/awards ceremony.

Calendar:
April 1st – Registration Ends
April 6th – First Practices
May 4th  – Matches Begin
June 1st  – Anticipated final matches/Awards Ceremony
